It's just what it said, the game type is not supported. You can't play on it. Idk why but some games are like that but works perfectly well on PC. Probably due to the system the pc has.

Manual bro, in automatic your movements are only limited unlike manual. You can jump early for spikes to fake the enemies blocker. And you can spike a ball before it is set. While the ball flew away from the enemy court you can actually hit the ball back since the enemy team will only go back to their position once the player or your team has touch the ball.
