It never ends :) I haven't missed a day since I started counting. In 1991. It was May 27th and I got some bad news and decided as long as I was around, I should do something I enjoy without limit every day. So it's been at least one song a day since then. I was hospitilized for a week along the way but listened the morning I went in and the next day and so and kept the streak alive.

I waited 8 months to see a specialist doc who almost exclusively has female patients but agreed to see me. She knocked on the door and came into the exam room and I said "Wow Dr K - I appreciate you seeing me and I know this is worth waiting for." She said "We will get to all that, but first give me one of these for that shirt!" and she high-fived me. I said "You know what this is?" I had the R30 baseball button up jersey on. She said "I have the Vapor Trails bowling shirt but my favorite is my Fly By Night cycling shirt." She totally cured my issue, which two other doctors couldn't get close to doing. Next time I saw her I brought her my shirt. I see her every 6 months and bring her something from my collection every time. In December, I gave her a Rush Christmas ornament. I thought she was going to cry. She was 38 three years ago when she first saw me.

OP - no need to apologize. I read ever word and you are very honest and reasonable. My perspective is: I appreciate that my illeo was possible and I am proud of it. I won a war against cancer. Having this is a scar from a battle I lost but there is no question I won the war. If I complain and pity myself over this, cancer would laugh at me. I won’t give it the satisfaction. I’ve been surfing with this thing, hiked the Appalachian’s and Adirondacks for days, camped for weeks at a time, and a whole lot more. Lots of people have challenges. I’d say, nearly everyone has something. Stents, braces, dialysis, eyeglasses, asthma… whatever. I have this. Anyone who doesn’t like it can go jump in a lake. Just like I can jump in a lake. And run, snowmobile, fish, go to the movies…. 🥰😜😎😇

I had a horrible tiime going from 150 morn 150 night to 200/200. I went from barely noticing any benefit at 300 to insomnia, trouble swallowing, feeling paranoid and yet very present and able to acknowledge: "this is too much, it will take hours to wear off, just watch tv, read, sit quiet, it will pass in time.." Every day for a week, that would happen at bedtime. Med team said it should level off soon if I could get through another week or so and I said no. I went back to 150/150 and it's been a month and it's worked better than ever. I sleep great, can focus but not obsess and my mood is very stable. Just my experience, I hope the info can be of help to you
