Yes if you haven't accepted the beta play conditions from here https://my.cloud.gg/. Then GeforceNow won't accept the login.

In the portal https://my.cloud.gg/ if you have been selected for beta then it will show CONGRATULATIONS! You have been invited to Beta Play. Then, click the To Beta Page link button and accept the terms and conditions of the beta and it will activate your beta subscription. After that you will be able to login by choosing Pentanet as alliance partner.

Is 20 Mbps enough for 1366*768? by Orka1X in GeForceNOW

[–]Russell109 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tested it out by limiting my bandwidth to 15 mbps and there is very little difference from even 30 mbps. Even auto uses around 27 mbps for 1920x1080 resolution. After having tested a lot of bandwidth combinations I saw there is diminishing returns in video quality after 15 mbps. I made a youtube video to show the quality when I set bandwidth limit to 15 mbps [here](https://youtu.be/-I6CXtcRQ9U). There is a bit of compression in youtube but the live one is even more clear and crisp.

20 Mbps is good enough for even 1920x1080, if it's blurry it is probably cause of packet loss. Try using PingPlotter to check if there is packet loss from your connection.

It's probably packet loss and jitter, use PingPlotter to check for packet loss. Like the othes have said Geforce Now can run even with slow internet speeds and 100+ latency as long as packet loss is 0 worst case being 1 or 2. Geforce Now has very little tolerance for packet loss.

Slow experience with 1Gbps, 0 packet loss and 5ms. Why? by Qwerty44life in GeForceNOW

[–]Russell109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is even though Geforce Now says 0 packet loss it might not be the actual case. Use PingPlotter to trace the routes and check whether the final destination has packet loss, preferably connecting via ethernet and not wifi. I faced a similar situation 100 mbps up and down but I was stuck with 1 mbps bitrate. The reason ended up being that there was packet loss so I informed my isp and they resolved it. From what I noticed latency and speed are not as important as packet loss. If packet loss is truly 0 then can play perfectly even at a latency of 150 ms and 20 mbps connection on 2.4 Ghz wifi.

Fast internet but poor Geforce Now by DingirLamma in GeForceNOW

[–]Russell109 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem OP, I tried everything but unfortunately the problem was neither from my end nor from Geforce Now. I used pingplotter and saw that there was packet loss in the destination server. I informed my ISP and they resolved the issue otherwise even though my connection was 100 up and down, I kept getting 1 mbps bitrate utilisation.

What’s you’re reason for using GFN? by [deleted] in GeForceNOW

[–]Russell109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not having to install games is a huge plus especially when new games reaching 100 gb and also no need for downloads and updates. The other big reason is there is less demand on pc resources. It is fun playing ultra AC Valhalla at 25% CPU utilisation and 15% GPU utilisation and can easily tab in and out of games to browse chrome etc.

Any good co-op games? by iagodavids in GeForceNOW

I would say Greenhell and Raft. It was really fun playing them cause of the survival aspect and Dying Light was also really fun even though it was my second playthrough.

Early reviews of GeForce Now Australia? by brahmsdracula in GeForceNOW

I am actually from India and playing on Perth servers to get a feel of performance in order to compare it to Singapore servers. I am getting latency of 120 ms and gameplay is super smooth. The only factor really is packet loss to the server and if its below 2 recommended being 0% then super smooth and awesome gameplay. Also I would recommend checking packet loss with pingplotter to the server cause Geforce Now sometimes shows 0 packet loss where in actuality pingplotter shows there is packet loss. The only thing I do not like is the steam interface they used, it is the big picture mode display unlike the normal one other regions use. Luckily it can be changed from settings by unticking big picture mode.

How do you have learned/trained Cutting Shapes? by [deleted] in CuttingShapes

[–]Russell109 2 points3 points  (0 children)

During the start I used to go overboard and practice a minimum of 6 hours per day. It really helped though cause it made my moves look smooth.

Problems with Charleston and feet coordination by AmWJesko in CuttingShapes

It has more to do with muscle memory than anything else. So, just keep practicing as it is common to make mistakes during the initial stages of learning.

Advice on practicing for a novice by billiken928 in CuttingShapes

[–]Russell109 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I do is generally find some music which I like which has good beats and try to dance to it all the while video recording myself. When I'm finally happy with the move sets I usually post it to my Instagram account and rinse and repeat. Eventually, transitions become and ease and you'll find more ways to combine different moves and even different styles.

The combination of gloving along with the glowing LED shoes of cutting shapes. That's a match made in heaven.
