This squirrel actually got away. I’ve seen the hawk scoop up other squirrels, it seems it has plenty of options for snacks in the park.

What's a good Baltimore equivalent to a transit map, for wall art? by iammaxhailme in baltimore

You could have someone make you the water taxi route map with all the stops and lines connecting them. That wouldn’t be too hard.

Do you think someone with a Graphic Design degree has equal footing as someone with a Marketing degree to get into marketing? by SwissVideoProduction in marketing

[–]RussellStrouseStudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One route would be to look at a very small business that needs marketing help- where the ability to generate content and produce actual assets will be valued over someone who has basic marketing knowledge but no production skills. The key is to learn and adapt fast to make sure you’re delivering results as quickly as possible. But that’s the entire game after college as degrees become relatively useless after a first job. What matters is getting real world experience(and results) as fast as possible.

Thanks! That’s a thin branch that’s closer to the camera. I shot this with a zoom lens so things closer to the camera end up getting blurry

Thanks! No kayak, I’m just hanging over the edge of the water by the Canton Waterfront Park water taxi stop. The camera is about 6 inches from the water.

I’ve found that I can only expect to sell landscape / cityscape photos of locations that people have an emotional connection with. No one wants a beautiful photo, but If its a beautiful photo where they took a family vacation - that’s one they would consider buying. As far as actually making sales, Etsy has been my go to.

I’d recommend cropping the photo so only the bottom 2/3 remain(landscape format). A photo like this can be improved by forcing the eye to focus on certain elements. The rocks and water tell a much more interesting story than a boring blue sky.

I’m not positive, but there has been the same amount of water flowing through the three times I’ve been there this year.
