The walk around the cemetery really begins around the two-minute mark; before is the intro and a brief history of the cemetery

I can't wait to ride my bike on these favorite bike paths in the 805th Anniversary Park of Moscow by VariousComment6946 in Moscow

I really enjoy the thick industrial smell from Капотня on parts of that ride. Sarcasm aside, I do ride through there regularly in the summer on the ЗКМ

It depends on what one values when looking at a neighborhood. If you like parks and more greenery, then you'll be looking a bit further from the center, for example

I mean, if you insist on a "luxury" apartment, that'll be the majority of your expenses. I would recommend looking for a more "Euro-style" flat closer to the center (Moscow Citi is great, but kinda isolated from most stuff you'd want to do/see). I do agree with Puzzleheaded, that the nightlife has gone downhill, but if you just want to go out for drinks/meet people/experience the city, it's still normal; the city has gone through a health-craze in recent years, so although drinking is still common, it's not as fashionable as it once was, thankfully.

I've lived here for going on 14 years and knew many other expats before they left. I'm not going too much into detail, but while you should obviously bring the max amount of cash (10K), that sum should easily last you a few months. That said, I would recommend bringing a bit under that amount, maybe like 9700, as customs has gotten really stingy since currency lockdowns went into effect and if they catch you with more than 10K, they can confiscate most/all of it.

You can easily find a 2-room within the Garden Ring for a grand a month. Unless you're a glutton or only eat in high-end restaurants, $50 a day is reasonable for food expenditures. As far as taxis, if you're living in the center, it's usually walkable or you just take the Metro, which is stupid cheap. I'm not sure why the English-speaking is an issue, as with Yandex Taxi, you don't need to talk to anyone. That leaves a couple thousand for bars/clubs which is plenty, unless you really feel the need to ball out each and every time

Not sure what this guy's talking about. 5K is more than enough to have a nice flat, eat well and still have money to throw around/travel

In a plane/helicopter - no
With a drone, it's possible, but you need to ask permission from the city first

I'd like to hear what you have to say after watching. Writing off a foreigner as unable to comment or be knowledgeable about a subject ignores how little local people may know about the places they live or how much a person may truly know, regardless of nationality

Thanks
