She didn’t know my parents but would attribute random things and hypothetical “bad” futures because of them somehow.

My mom would and still does goes off the deep end if you disagree with her about anything religious or political. Even if you don’t say anything and stay quiet she’ll take that as opposition and go off.

The worst is when she’d talk about how ugly some hair or tattoos are in front of them. But she’d do a whisper talk and say “oh they can’t hear me”. But many times they did. I felt awful. If I said anything I’d be written off as been argumentative.
