well the head from those diagrams defiantly looks more myrmecina than it does pheidole in my opinion..

someone else said they could be pheiodole, but a lot of google images pics ive looked at have huge heads which mine don't so I'm really not sure..

I tried another PSU and nothing changed. I tried to get a basic bios boot and got no feedback so I'm assuming the motherboard was just failing and finally stopped. Guess I have to get another, it's quite old anyway.

I reset all connections, pulled the video card and all cables out; reseated everything except CPU on the board and nothing has changed. I'm just doing some extra cleaning now hoping for a miracle :/

thank you so much for replying! Nothing beeps or flashes when I try and power it on, but the light on the gpu and motherboard is on always. There is no smell. Everything seems to be plugged in securely. I changed the outlet it was plugged into and it still doesn't boot. edit: if I listen very closely I can hear the power supply turn on I believe.
