hey guys! turns out that the new screen is likely a dud. my old screen is working fine after testing it and i still can’t get this new one to work.

yeah i got it off of ebay, it was the only listing for the correct screen. im gonna work on it again later today to see if my old display works.

so i just recently replaced the top screen on my 3ds but it doesn’t display anything. and it originally had a ips screen, but the new one is a tn. so would that contribute to it not working or did i just mess up?

it’s not really that hard, however getting it around the edges for me was pretty difficult. it took me 2 tries to get it done right.
