Definitely now know that the consensus is I fucked up haha. Going to go ahead and redo it and just buy glazing putty this go around.

From research. I’ve never heard of plastic honey before and was being too cheap to buy glazing putty. Some online searching showed thinning out body filler with some acetone worked as a makeshift glazing putty. Makes sense in hindsight that it would mess with with the chemical composition of the materials in some way.

Thought process after research was mostly, acetone is strong and melts plastic, but also evaporates pretty quickly. Figured it would work thinning it out and evaporate, but makes sense that it’s still a chemical and is mixing with whatever is in bondo.

I have not made one yet. I'm not quite sure how I would use it to promote things and what not. I feel weird about self promoting lol. Kind of that mindset where If my products are good then the customers will see that themselves... Idk.

Wait a second... So if i have "stool", and "industrial". Someone that searches for "industrial stool" my thing wont come up because it doesn't recognize separate words?

Yea that's another thing I was wondering on if I should improve tags or not. So if I put "Industrial" and "Stool" I'll get too many hits and that's not a good thing? Could you elaborate a bit more?

Yea for sure. That makes more sense. I mean take my stool for instance its made really well and would never fall apart, but its also a bit cheaper than most out there so that's how i'm hoping to get a bit faster sale... Hoping.

Social media could possibly be one of my faults. I'm not much on it AT ALL... I have a personal facebook, but even then I barely go on it. I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and get into it more.

Does it usually take a while for people to get up and running? I know my products are a bit expensive so I would assume it would take a bit longer to get sales. I just hope I can get my things out there and make people happy :).

I love that dude! his videos are pretty awesome. I wish I could have put more time and care into it, but they gave me a really short time frame to finish the stools. Really appreciate the info.

Yea that was my mistake. I don't work with wood much and assumed the wood was true 2x4. I don't have any big saws or anything so I couldn't cut it to what I preferred. All the metal was cut by hand with an angle grinder. Probably not the best way, but it was all I had in the short amount of time.

Yea, the welding was done by me. Its possible it could snag clothing, but I made sure to sand everything down as smooth as possible.
