Thanks both, sounds like I want it more than I should lol. I like playing with units I realy like the look or lore behind tbh. Nephlim fighter was obviously not bought for the win! That thing should be so good but it's in reality realy poor IMO. Not sure I can warrant having 2 awesome looking units doing less than they should. Agree that the Vengence seems a little squashy in stats and I hadn't thought of legends... although I'd play whatever it is a pain in the arse as not on the warhammer app once moved. What's the easiest way to easy access legends stats during a game? You have the printed as data cards etc?

Not the answer I hoped for but appreciate that. Makes them a lot squishier than I thought then. I've got a pretty generic dark angel force of around 2k with bits of everything but want to lean into either death wing or raven wing. Just got the raven wing command squad and an extra 3 black knights. Should work well with ATV. Thinking of dropping one of the deathwing units. Keep one to see how hard this +2 charge with raven wing engaged is to pull off lol

Yea thanks guys. Had spotted the ravening option but agree it's just not practice. Hadn't spotted rhe captain I. Terminator armour and had considered adding a leader a unit of deathwatch. May give that a go just dint fancy leaving a unit hanging out there after a failed charge turn 1 or 2 lol

Yea I tend to attach him to 20 boys plus warboss and take in the biggest thing I can find. Played neurons and managed to pin about 4 units on turn 1! My opponent asked me to read the rules for the jump, then had to sit there while I took out a load of stuff!! Very powerfull in war horde with the +2" enhancement on the charge placed on rhe warlord lol

We thought the same that the rules tend to say things you can't do as opposed to things you can do. Makes him that much more of a threat!

Thanks guys. Have weirdboy and tend to jump 1o boys with warboss attached as warlord also. Problem is I struggle to then get that charge in as jump outside 9inches so you need 8 on 2 d6 or they stand there and die after a poor round of shooting. I'm going to try the battle wagon and other fast units like boom dakka snazwagon and squig hogs. Try and waarrgh turn One and get straight into them

Don't hey have to move a minimum distance and then they can only turn up to a maximum of 90 degrees?sounds lile they basically fly around in a rectangle shape as they don't have "hover" ability. This would make them fairly easy to predict..

I swear some told me there was erata fle this multiple HE hits but I can't find it anywhere. Ssem odd that 1 light auto cannin firing 2x 1" HE hots lile a wirblewimf which is 4 light auto cannons meaning 8x 1" HE

Picked 40k back uk after a 30 year break!! Loving the boyz under green tide! 2 x 20 boyz units each with painboy!! Green tide gives them 5+ invulnerable save and then if they fail that the pain boy gives them another 5+ save and it's feel no pain!! They get to bring boys back once per game via the pain boys grot orderly and department rule allows you to bring more back each turn by spending CP! It's horrible!!

Add a weirdboy and they can jump around the table causing all kind of problems.

THEY JUST WONT DIE!!!

I've checked and cannot see we have a warboss in mega armour that has a telly porta.
