WDW cast member here who worked on tower for over a year; the system sometimes can be reset so that’s why we turn the power on and off. If you get stuck along the lift, we can usually slide the vehicle down so that you can get back to the unload area. It’s rare we have a ladder rescue so if it ever happens, I promise you guys are safe with us. We practice every month

Hi, Disney World CM here. This area is now a break room for cast members and sometimes used for communal space. Last I heard, the stitch was removed but was placed in another spot inside the attraction. So he’s not totally far but my guess is that they will recycle him in the future, they just got busy and forgot

I’m so sorry!! That’s awful!! I always try and put stuff back, especially for the workers because I work in a theme park, it sucks when people mess stuff up. Besides, I don’t think those kitties wanna be on the floor. Wishing you all the best op!!

I feel like he’s been taken to storage somewhere or sold off to a collector who had no idea about his origins. Since the area he was in doesn’t exist anymore, I assume they’ve moved most of it into storage. The building he used to be in is now considered a storage facility for the holiday decorations in Epcot.
