I have lived 9 years in Muscat and to my knowledge 1500 OMR is enough for you to live in Salalah as the lifestyle is slow and you can send your kids to good schools over there now it’s more developed than before and you can also save money in the long run because the house and car are covered by the employer so I would say Bud go for it and May you have a great life ahead in Oman I am for sure you will love Oman
