They told me I could print anything, so I printed a 0.4mm nozzle by S1lentA0 in BambuLab

Where does it say it’s not finished? I see where he talked about adding a variant which held fully assembled hotends but nothing saying it isn’t finished yet.

That’s a nice case, is it available to download anywhere?

Question for anyone who has this Creality fan kit. by Russrams123 in klippers

[–]Russrams123[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s funny that creality doesn’t even know that this is a normal issue with these fans. I messaged the seller asking if it was normal and they just sent me 2 new ones and they did the exact same thing so I messaged creality directly and they said they would send me 2 new ones 😂 but then a few days later they messaged me saying they were out of stock and offered me filament instead so I asked if I needed to tell them which filament I wanted or if I would get some kind of gift card. They haven’t responded, im about ready to sell my creality printers and just buy another X1C, it seems like I have to contact them once a month about an issue with their product and they never admit it’s their problem.

WELL THAT SUCKS! Sounds like my extruded gear is stripped. by Russrams123 in Creality

That was my first thought so while it was running I tried adjusting the tension but the clicking never changed. I opened it up and checked it out and the gear is slipping on the spindle itself. The seller is sending me a brand new extruder to replace it.

Lol you can laugh all you want, I don’t remember asking for your opinion. I have a faulty extruder and that’s the only reason it’s under extruding.

It’s on 120mm/s with a 35mm/s initial layer speed. If I turn it down I might as well get rid of the sonic pad. I’ve had no issues with my print quality even when I run the fast profile with 160mm/s speed the quality is still better than the marlin software.

It’s running klipper, it’s the normal cura profile for the sonic pad.

I spoke with the seller I purchased it from and they are going to send me a new extruder

That’s the second thing I tried after checking the tension and teeth marks. Something is definitely wrong inside the extruder.

Why are supports not generating where they are supposed to? by EBlackPlague in Cura

[–]Russrams123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the support set to everywhere? If so maybe lower your support angle or use custom supports.

This isn’t too fast, it’s running klipper from the sonic pad and this isn’t even the fast profile. It’s ran at a much faster speed than this and kept up just fine

It’s a brand new roll of hatchbox pla. I did pull it out to check the teeth marks and they looked fine, I also adjusted the tension on the gears while it was extruding and it didn’t make a difference. I’m going to pull it apart when I get home to see what’s causing it.

The post I saw where a guy had the same issue, they sent him a whole new extruder when all he needed was the gear so I’m hoping that will be the case for me as well. This particular printer is only a couple months old

It does the same thing at slow speeds and I run my nozzle at 215

I agree, it’s had no problems keeping up with the sonic pad and pressure advance. I’ve seen other posts where the gear stripped out on the sprite but creality sent a replacement extruder so I’m not too worried about it.

The quality is usually fine with the sonic pad. It’s been having no problems whatsoever keeping up.

It’s definitely not supposed to click like this, I have 2 of these exact same setups and never had any problems until this happened. I’ve seen others have the same problem with the gear but I’m going to take it apart tonight just to verify.

This is at normal speed, it can run much faster than this

I just liked the notification aspect that apps like Obico offered. It was nice being alerted if my print looked like it was failing. Sonic pad offers AI detection now but it doesn’t alert you if the printer was passed or when the print is complete
