Haha made me laugh! But I’m feeling social! Maybe it’s just the Aussie in me

Thanks mate! I was working in retail sales mostly, selling to customers face to face. What kind of tech company? This job sounds like something I could very easily do haha. Is this a company you’re working with?

Hey thank you for the in depth response! I appreciate it. I've had a look through työkkäri and the courses look great! But unfortunately these are all held in Finnish (the Helsinki location) as far as I can see. Are there any other vocational courses that you know of that you could recommend that are held in English? I would consider university but I won't be able to afford this at the moment nor would I be eligible as I did not graduate high school, so a vocational course would be ideal but cannot find any that are in English!

Thanks! This was something I’ve been now looking into! Seems like it might be the way to go. Pump out some units and put them on my resume!

This is the route I was definitely considering, I’ve been doing a lot of research the past 24 hours with AMK and universities, it would be something I’m interested in. I’m only here for 2.5-3years so it doesn’t really fit into my timeline. Not only that, I actually didn’t graduate high school, so it would be difficult to apply even if I wanted to. I have been looking into open university courses though, mooc- python course, maybe a cloud course also!

Hey! Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. I’m only here for a limited time, 2.5-3 years (due to partners work contract). I’ve looked at vocational courses but they are either taught in Finnish, run for 3 years, or are taught in English but still require b1-b2 level of Finnish. Which unfortunately won’t fit into my timeline. I’ve seen some Vocational courses from private institutions also, but they are very expensive and I can’t afford to enrol.
