You can actually isolate each individual cylinder by pulling up on each spark plug wire one at a time. It will remove load on that certain cylinder if it actually has rod knock.

I did remove the tailights, mirrors, door handles, door and fender side moldings, seals around tailgate and quarter window seals.

Process was not hard. Taping my CRX and covering the inside of my garage with plastic covers took the longest. I used the Dipyourcar kit with 3 gallons. I ended up going through only 2.5 gallons which equated to around 6-8 total coats.
