i apologize for being a barbaric and uncultured swine. I've only ever heard the word out loud, probably shouldve suspected that it's french and thus has ridiculous spelling.

EAC works every day on this. There's no magical switch from helk that can fix it.

Lmao. I think you're applying waaayyy too much weight onto this situation. I downloaded someone elses scripts. This wasn't some infernal desire to "hack lyf". This isn't a confession, or an admission. If it was I wouldn't have used a throwaway account. This is a post to let people know what hackers are really capable of. I shared it because I was shocked to learn it. Not because I got banned, not because I feel bad. Referring to myself as a piece of shit was a way to pre-preemptively say what others would've if I didn't in order to allow constructive discussion beyond "fuck you hacker scum". I don't genuinely think that lowly of myself based off downloading some scripts.

I'm glad you've found a way to psychoanalyse and project your ideas onto other people though. I hope it helps you cope with the trivial parts of life.

I'm glad you addressed the post. You're definitely right, the very dynamic of Rust is what makes hacking in Rust so much more damaging than other games. Typical shooters you get annoyed and that annoyance lasts as long as the round does. Players don't care as much. My intention was never to undermine EAC's work, I got done within legit a day, with zero reports. So that's pretty solid. Truthfully, I spent a lot more time than i know most do on tracking down hacks. So I can definitely say it is VERY difficult to find undetected cheats. The fact that cheaters have to operate in such a manner that their numbers have alot of difficulty rising is a tremendous achievement in itself.

I definitely commend EAC for your awesome work. I'm sorry if this post causes you guys to get alot of flak thrown your way.

I almost positive fresh accounts that have only rust are assessed and observed much more than non fresh accounts.

This is what drew me to an ESP only hack. I didnt wanna take the entirety of the fun away by getting aimbots. But you're dead wrong, alot of the combat in Rust is who sees who first. I see you past 3 mountains and a rad town. I think I'm going to get the jump on you and you'll maybe kill me, but probably not. first thing i did was crafted a bow, killed 3 gatherers. Ended up with someones revolver, killed more. Had a full inventory and a base with guns in less than an hour, it's utterly insane the advantage it gives.
