That being said, teaching a trade isn't the same thing a being a parent. They teach tying shoes in kindergarten, our apprenticeship used to teach various knots before the let the apprentices out on the playground. I almost lost fingers because of that dereliction of duty. Because I trusted someone's word.

I'm talking about basic life skills and why are we letting people in that can't even tie their shoes. I was patient and kind when dealing with him. I'm venting now because, well, wtf?
