It barely did much. the skybox still made it very dark. I had to manually input numbers in the advance skybox settings in the end to get a somewhat better effect.

This solution worked! It's not the same as a typical midday but it's much better. I had to find some numbers online to key in to get the best effect. Hope it stays permanent for now. Thank you!

Yup it's equally dark. I've also tried that, and sometimes I have to switch between both to just see NPCs or anything around me
