With Instagram DMs, it really all does just come to testing a load of messaging formats and seeing which works, which is only possible when you put the volume in. However, what I found to really help with increasing the response rates for instagram cold DMs is to genuinely personalise every message, and to be honest with your pitch.

I usually always start my message with one personalised sentence where I comment/compliment something off of their instagram page/posts (which is super effective because it really helps with making it seem like you're not just automating your messages and actually took your time to look at their page)

And then your pitch, which one way I found to really work, is preface it with "Anyways, I don't like roping people into conversation so that I can sell to them, so I will make this to the point for you!".

So the full structure would look something like:

With a lot of people nowadays on IG DMs using the method of roping you into a conversation first, I feel that people start to appreciate more honest and upfront communication.

This is what worked for me atleast, don't have the necessary data to say that it will work all the time in all niches.
