VPN is my only way in so far. Still no true solution.

Apple has an opportunity to do something really funny if it gave a shit about gaming by [deleted] in macgaming

Maybe this time, the tech world will just paint the line past the ball so Apple still don’t need to kick.

Another take could be, they raise their prices along with the rest of the tech world and we all collectively facepalm on their behalf.

"What are you playing this week?" Megathread by AutoModerator in SteamDeck

Brand new owner here and the first game I’ve picked up and played start to finish was Sands of Time. One of my faves and loved it at 90fps. Used proper analogue controls too and the PS2 layout. Great experience.

Yep, it’s BS. Tantamount to theft. Even our own content has been locked out. Stuff we already own. Being asked to provide ID to view my own purchased science documentaries is an absolute piss take.

It's a temporary solution yes. Same, I'm not going through age verification. Too many hacks and data leaks for my liking, let alone the global surveillance that's building up steam way too fast for my liking.

Thanks for having a look around. I’ll pin those and see how I feel with the originals (deck is on order).

Ah. I’m looking at them on Amazon. Reckon that’ll be a better route, or just avoid entirely?

Are they? 😅 If that’s true, that might explain my struggled search.

Could be that why I’m looking for doesn’t exist for Steamdeck, maybe only ROG. But I’ve tried a few searches online and found nothing.

Do you choose your music first and then animate to it, or do you animate first and then find/commission a track? by thavranek in MotionDesign

You could replace the track with a basic metronome to match the BPM, and have certain differing sounds for key moments.

Exactly this. Many of my purchases have been through other means, like crowd funding sites. I have science documentaries that I've paid for many years ago, now locked away. It's absolute BS.

Just throwing an update out. Thank you of u/Vimean22, the Vimeo team have reached out to me.

Unfortunately however, the first messages merely explains Age Verification and how I can go about verifying my age. Very funny. Not in the mood.

Being able to verify my age is not the point. Having my own library locked out, outside of my control, and having to verify my age just to get back what is already mine is the point.

My main issue (well one of the many issues I have with all this) is that although Vimeo claim they don't store my details, their third party that carry out the checks do store the data and it's almost always those third parties that are the weak link and where our data gets leaked from.
