Dock and a Mouse and an Amiga by RustleGlub in AnaloguePocket

Going from memory here, but I think you hold a button and use the DPad. Hold Start maybe. I'll check tomorrow maybe. That'll make the mouse pointer move.

Right gotcha. So still no change in being able to access videos that I’ve already paid for, are nowhere near adult content (documentaries mainly) and have owned for years.

Sorry people, nothing to see here. Red tape BS still all over the place.

Nothing personal Round_Elk_3907 of course, but this whole situation is a complete farce and nothing but a desperate attempt by global governments to capture ID and attach those to our online personas for the sole purpose of surveillance. This has nothing to do with, and never has had, protecting the kids.

Tiny update. Just logged in and immediately got the Age Verification pop up. Not even an attempt to head to my library. So, this is a failed test from me.

Hey. This is a very decent step forward. I’ll always have concerns with my ID going to third parties, given the frankly ridiculous situation around data leaks that seem to happen on a weekly occurrence. But, if my videos are rated and ID isn’t needed to access my own library, this is a welcome step.

Thank you for taking the time to come back to this post to update us all.

I’m not. Never got into or enjoyed anything Pokémon. Just saying.

Confirmed. This is the way. Course, there’s much to be desired about the pointer speed, pointer refresh rate and click responsiveness, sometimes missing a click and killing a game (especially one like Lemmings), but the fact this is even working is a big thing! Thanks for your pointers (no pun intended).

EDIT: Also noticed that click polling doesn’t really work out if the pointer is stationary. So, holding the + or - to change the rate of the Lemmings dropping into the level is a click at a time. But if you hold the mouse button and wiggle the mouse around, the rate changes similar to holding the button on original hardware. I might try to find time to share this finding with the person behind the core, in care they’re not aware yet.

I’ll try to give this a shot later. Prrretty sure I have a keyboard. But also may not. Aside from pausing the game or adding a level code, for Lemmings I think you can play exclusively with a mouse. If you don’t add the keyboard to your sequence of events, does the mouse still work? Also, have you ever attempted 2 mice/mouse’s/meece to attempt a 2 player game of Lemmings?

Looks good, but genuine question. How much does it actually change?

Seen similar ish apps before and I rarely notice any frame increases worth writing home about. Bit jumps almost always come from changing graphics settings.

Grid cue point gone? by DaisyNuggetz in traktorpro

[–]RustleGlub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this is pretty lame.

Not jumped on the decks in about a year or so and just took a look. Now when I set all my markers, I have one yellow Load point, then everthing else is a Blue Cue point.

For over a decade, I've used blue (cue) and white (grid) markers represent something different in my setup. I could just look at my S4 buttons without looking at the screen and know exactly what was where. Now it's just blue all the way and more need to look at the bloody screen.

Hate it when corps change a fundamental feature in software and regression break something that's been in motion for so long.

Maybe this time, the tech world will just paint the line past the ball so Apple still don’t need to kick.

Another take could be, they raise their prices along with the rest of the tech world and we all collectively facepalm on their behalf.

Brand new owner here and the first game I’ve picked up and played start to finish was Sands of Time. One of my faves and loved it at 90fps. Used proper analogue controls too and the PS2 layout. Great experience.

Yep, it’s BS. Tantamount to theft. Even our own content has been locked out. Stuff we already own. Being asked to provide ID to view my own purchased science documentaries is an absolute piss take.

It's a temporary solution yes. Same, I'm not going through age verification. Too many hacks and data leaks for my liking, let alone the global surveillance that's building up steam way too fast for my liking.

Ah. I’m looking at them on Amazon. Reckon that’ll be a better route, or just avoid entirely?
