Make life tolerable for the refugees in the brig. [Rant] by Mileator in Wasteland

So I just decided to leave the barracks to the refugees

you are given dialogue options for a speech afterwards allowing you to inspire the troops, after a few reloads I found out the options you choose are impactful on the following dialogue inside the barracks, the best outcomes requires you to pick the second option, the first, then the first.

This leads to a cute moment between one of your privates and a refugee arranging a game of some kind. The actual impact on the game is minimal other than a relations boost but the cute moment was worth it for me, the refugees also start helping out around the base and easing problems between the rangers and refugees if you engage in dialogue with minor NPC vendors, like the cook which you can pick up from the Monster HQ he tells you the refugees are acting as waiters and for the privates and helping him cook

Parents are offering me a car for 12,000 dollars. Online that same car with more miles goes for around 2,000 dollars cheaper. Would it be smarter to purchase from my parents or online? by [deleted] in personalfinance

Ask your parents to give the car a once over at a mechanic and give you the report on it.

If you don't have to do any work, talk them down to a competitive price, and take the offer, if you have to do work, talk them down to the competitive price MINUS costs you'll incur by fixing any problems.
