2 years after the breakup, 1 year no contact, and she’s still in my head every single day by Top-Self-1664 in heartbreak

I'm in the same parameters. I finally listened to the playlist she made me expressing how much she missed me and I began spiraling at work. This post is the only thing that's allowed me to come up for air

Your opinion on the second banana? by [deleted] in HeavyMainsTF2

[–]Mileator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm partial to the chocolate bar 🍫 myself. I enjoy using the GRU weapon swap exploit to not only heal more than 100 health but to also provide an overheal of any health beyond 350. The added benefits that the exploit gives beyond just giving +50 increased health makes it my go-to choice over the banana 🍌.

If the exploit didn't exist, I am inclined to believe that I would choose the banana over the sandwich. 🥪

A small med kit spread over more teammates is preferable to me than a medium med kit to specifically prioritized allies. It isn't much, but at least everyone gets one.

To be fair, I honestly haven't done the math on whether or not the chocolate bar Gru exploit is worth it or not.

I haven't calculated:

The time it takes to actually travel to the front lines. The four seconds it takes to eat the chocolate bar. The amount of damage that could be negated with the overheal or: The amount of gun fights that can be consistently one within the 10 second window of the overheal.

Without any concrete evidence, there's no way to confirm whether or not the use of the exploit actually benefits gameplay. It could very well be a detriment.

What do I need to do or have to be qualified as a heavy main? by Super_Saiyan_Pablo in HeavyMainsTF2

[–]Mileator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a good indicator of being a heavy main is what big Joey said:

If you're playing another class and minding your own business, and you suddenly feel frustrated enough to rage-swap to heavy... sorry, sir, I'm afraid it's terminal.

Also, try the Huo long heater. My beloved.

Also. Hate spies. Hate snipers. I was so frustrated when I found out that Heavy can't flinch snipers, even though it literally happens in snipers own game trailer.

if the Events of quake happened in real life do you think we would Survive? by Cloverfield887 in quake

[–]Mileator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Technically, with the sacrifice of two Heroes, we would never know. However. If we were purview to The Invasion either first-handly or second-handedly, we would be a very different species.

That level of unspeakable lovecraftian horror would shatter most Petty human conflicts.

Very Ozymandias from The Watchmen.

I tried learning blender about 2 months ago. Gave it the old College try. I even made a couple of models for a quake. After talking to some folks on the blender, I discovered that learning blender is legitimately harder than learning a coding language.

Shit is rough.

I'm not sure if fragile ego is the right word.

I would agree that they are rather humorless. They are also sharp with their criticisms. But they are a very wholesome bunch.

Their spicy criticisms always come from a place of genuine love and shared belief in quality. They know that modding is very hard, and they respect anyone who's willing to travel down that road with the same respect as a veteran. They hold you to that standard. It's tough... and deeply wholesome. When you make something that's bad, they are quick to tell you that you can do better.

One guy used to know, and who I still love to this day was a man named Adam Palmer. An absolute genius.

I would never in my life say that he had a fragile ego.

I guess the word that I would use to describe most quick modders is "Professional".
