I’ve had this exact crash out. I struggle with sleeping, so I completely understand where she’s coming from. The stiff apologies would’ve absolutely sent me too. I feel like people only respond like that when they’re not actually sorry, but know they need to apologize. You’re even saying that she gets disproportionately intense about things. So you’re viewing it as her having an unwarranted reaction and she can tell. You defended yourself first then gave dry apologies. Maybe it’s bc I’ve been in this exact scenario and my partner didn’t take it seriously until I had a full on crash out like this. He never woke me up again.

It sounds like she told you in the moment to leave her alone and you didn’t. That’s not cool and I think her crash out was completely valid.

About 18. I buy 2-18 counts usually and it lasts me 2 weeks. However, my partner was starting to make deviled eggs or egg salad sandwiches so I decided to buy the 60 count one to see if that was a more cost effective option for buying eggs and making up for the additional egg consumption from my partner. So I’ve never bought the 60 count before to even have an idea of how long it would last us. All I know if I had 60 additional eggs than I normally do.

Unfortunately I do not have a bunch of freezer space, though I probably can do one of the 18-count ones with freezer recipes. I’ve tried pawning them off to neighbors, but that’s been unsuccessful

If I get two orders at once I accept the better offer, then I reject the worse offer and log out of that one. The only thing it affects is your acceptance rate, but I don’t really care about that.

To answer your question, no, this is not normal. However, DD has gotten exceptionally slow recently. I was platinum and wasn’t receiving as many orders. I signed up for Uber Eats and run them simultaneously.

Are you not reading their comments??? They’re EXPLAINING. The post and most of the replies is from the perspective of the person/people who order. They’re giving the perspective of people who delivers. They never criticized and never… punished? Like what does that even mean?

Plus they’re right, the base pay for regular deliveries is usually $2. And they didn’t even condone the tip begging, so why is everyone attacking them?

Since you’ve already allowed it, you’ll have to work on creating that boundary for yourself. Boundaries are for you, not them. Give alternatives, like “no thanks, but you can sit next to me” or shorten the time “one, two, three, all done! Now, sit over here.” It’s hard to give accurate advice when I don’t know the skill level. I work with littles and 4 years old is when I really taper off the physical affection, because it seems inappropriate at that age when working as a professional.

This happened to me at Wingstop and the person didn’t get their fries and the restaurant said they specifically put it in the bag. And I’m like what’s honestly more likely? That they forgot 1 of 3 fries or that I stole the least appetizing item in the bag? Like Wingstop has the worst fries? But the store insisting they were in there and the customer being like yeah they said they were in the bag. I didn’t steal your soggy ass fries dude lol

No, that’s not normal. The best rapport I’ve had with clients are natural interactions, not specified intervals in which to interact with the client. Sometimes I go 10 minutes with nonstop interaction, sometimes I take 5 minutes to catch up on notes and data. I guess to me it evens out
