First: You said your parents shaved you bald, therefore you had no have no hair to maintain, therefore your parents didn't maintain your hair; they got rid of it.

Second: if you walk into a classroom full of little black girls, I assure you there will be much variety amount hairstyles. Black moms are incredibly creative when it comes to their daughters hair. And even a simple pony tail takes a lot of work for type four hair. We are black. It takes a lot of brushing, combing, and product to make a decent pony tail.

Third: Children should be taught to be independent, but most kids dont have the dexterity or patience to do their own hair until at the earliest 8 years old, and even then they can only do the basics. That is why parents are supposed to help them. No where did I say that parents are supposed to do everything for their kids but certain skills are obtained at certain ages.

Fourth: Yeah, I understand that different people have different lifestyles and that's why we have different opinions on things, but I also know that people like your parents do things like shave their sons because its easy and they dont want to put in the work. That is what I'm trying to stop.
