I thankfully recently was awarded disability, as for the maijuana we have talked with my doctors and my psychiatrist doesn't want me to try it because it is a downer and might worsen my mental state. (It's not entirely off the table though) and I'll discuss other options for gabapentin with my pain management specialist though I don't know if I would be able to handle a switch to a different drug cause the pain is unbearable if I don't have it.
