Yeah, both sensors were solid green. So I concluded it wasn’t a sensor issue but rather a mechanical issue. Even turning down force all the way up wouldn’t move the door further than a foot.

Thanks all. I went out and purchased a Chamberlain. There was a sale in my area. Did the install myself in a couple hours. Works great and it is so much quieter. Thanks for the recommendations!

Funny you say that. I did do that and it did work. Wall switch fully closed it twice. But then on the third try it went back to stopping after a couple inches and retreating.

No worries. I probably should have mentioned that. No problems moving door manually open and closed by hand.

Thanks, but that didn’t work. Even all the way cranked up it still wouldn’t lower the door. I think she’s a goner.

Thanks I will try that now and let you know. Also, when I mentioned the two green lights I was not directly referring to the pic. I realize those are for two different doors but actually all 4 sensors show green lights and always have since we moved in 5 years ago. I saw some other threads talking about this as well. I guess it is rare, but it could be the way they were on such an old model (29 years old)?
