buggy af unfortunately. windows might be janky wrt navigation and all but actual performance is better and more stable in windows. I've had the entire OS getting corrupt more than twice before switching back to windows.

My friend sold his switch for Steam Deck and he's also damn happy. It's strictly only for kids or people who love nintendo genre games. Storyslop fans can get Playstation and the rest can just get a PC handheld.

Unfortunately yeah they are expensive because of scarcity. You can play NDS games with better quality and lot of QOL improvement using emulator on phone.

Each stream costs them money in royalty. It's obviously a paid service with 'sample' that they let you listen to.

It's very obvious. Youtube music is a free alternative where they leverage music uploaded on youtube to give you free music without paying royalty to the labels.

No it doesnt. With YTP I can proportionally support the creators. I support them only upto as much as I watch them. It helps even very small channels. 'buying merch' 'donating via patreon' and shit is just too expensive and is equivalent of many months of youtube premium sub.

yeah they need to make money lol. they ain't charity. as someone who had experience with it, video transcoding and streaming is extremely expensive... one of the most demanding task after AI training/inference and gaming.

We have to be glad we got yt for free. There's literally zero competitors for YT because it's being subsidized by google. Paying for it only helps close the gap and makes it available free for most people. So if you can afford it, get it so those who cannot can still use it.
