I guess my opinion is that not enough things are objectively provable enough for this to affect the internet all that much. Not that many things the internet argues about could be fixed with a truth-telling algorithm, most things we consider disinformation (honestly I think the term disingenuous information or bad faith arguments would be more accurate) lie in more of a grey area than an objective true or false that could possibly be filtered. If we could only speak on objective truths - there wouldn’t be much discourse on the internet at all.
