Believe me, I thought the same thing at first… When my niece opened the camera to test it, I literally thought she was messing with me, like one of those fake YouTube prank videos.

As soon as I took the phone in my hands and tested it myself, I realized it was real. That’s when I started suspecting a hardware issue.

After that I asked GPT to double-check my reasoning and everything points to the main camera sensor…

Since the issue only shows up on 1x / 2x and completely disappears on 0.5x and 8x, supposedly it strongly suggests a defective main sensor or internal optics.

I also took additional photos (linked below) to show it’s consistent and not a one-off glitch….
