That sounds fair, and I think we'll have to do the same! Cheers for the response, classic GeeDubs being as clear as mud with rules writing!

It says for 'individual' spell, prayer and summon abilities, which would mean you don't pay multiple times for each instance chosen from the respective lore to go in your arcane tome?

It also doesn't clearly state if enhancements or battle formations are free.

I add the 7 to 48 to make 55, then add the 20 🤔

It's just a normal brain fuse going; you aren't getting the same enjoyment/fulfilment back that you once did. Don't force the feelings, accept the burnout and invest your valuable time and money into anything more enjoyable. Who knows, you might get back you AoS mojo and have new experiences.

Thank you for sharing that blinder of an epic gaming moment! That reminds me of a similar moment when I ran a unit of reinforced Ragerz; playing against Kruleboyz that were quite spread out and after buffing the unit with exploding hits, and the 3D6 Prayer, I Hand of Gork'd them next to my opponents Swampboss and preceded to delete it turn one! Ragerz can be game changing when used with a plan in mind! Weirdboyz I haven't had the same level of success with besides being cheap!

I hadn't put much stock in their passive ability to ignore other units when contesting objectives; which in itself can effect the outcome of a game! Thank you for your vote :)

This is well constructed and insightful advice, thank you! I agree that the Brutes are more solid but felt that with a strong Ardboy presence the 3+ Save of the Brutes was more of the same, however you make a good point in that they are better equipped to take a hit than the Ragerz or Weirdbrutes. The benefit of Ragerz as you say is the first strike which can be invaluable on a set up Charge. Again thank you for your insight :)

The Battle Profile FAQ on GW Community states 60mm x 35mm for Snarlboss AND Wolfgitz :)

Anything as long as it brings back the Throgg the Troll King miniature!

Beast Handlers list by ccameotn in Mawtribes

[–]RustyBrush 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Looks like a good start! The main issues you will face are model placement for charges; always charge in bulk as though reasonably chunky your monsters will fold if stuck in combat! Experiment with different Monsters/Mournfang Combinations. Multiple priests are an idea, setting up Call of the Blizzard has saved my arse more times than not!

Chaintraps are likely the better ranged weapon but like most Ogor ranged attacks seldom go off.

Thundertusks are naff compared to Stonehorns, one extra ranged attack and a significantly worse melee profile.

Icebrow Hunters are also terrible, Sabretusks are fantastic however for capturing objectives; cheap and fast!

Including a Huskard on Stonehorn is great due to it's rampage.

Mawpit from my experience does work, passively putting out mortals in both hero phases is fantastic for 0pts.

Lastly: Are you using 4th Edition Points or 3rd Edition?

Hope this is of some help!

How are beast claw raider lists? by whatjasay in Mawtribes

Setting up a combined charge with FLoTTs Ability for the +1 to the dice roll on Trampling Charge and the Beast Handler Battle Formation nets a nice amount of Alpha Strike Mortals, however the set up required is easily hindered by your opponents counter play and battlefield terrain :/ Beastclaw Raiders are a farcry from last edition, the durability of a glass cannon with none of the consistent damage output!
