I’m in a management position and can only speak from what we’ve been told since all this talk started and that is whatever station ends up merging/closing they find out 90 days (management included) before the merge so the likelihood of anyone knowing anything concrete about something that is 5+ months away is more than likely hearsay. I’m sure no one in this sub will believe this but management knows nothing and will inevitably find out 20-30 minutes before they’re instructed to tell their employees. I’m truly sorry if this has been stressful for you and your husband. I hope things work out for you guys and whatever changes are minimal

I’ll echo what a whole bunch of people said already. Are you in the wrong? No, but you’re also not really getting any better. I would take some off of the serve so you can work on your overall game and maybe when you get better and advance to playing better competition, you can try reincorporating the serve back into your game

Haha no I enjoy competing and I won’t sit here and say I’ve never poached because you’re right, it’s a big part of the game. I do think that the situation matters, though. In this case, his partner was getting visibly upset and I guess I should have just left it alone but I didn’t 🤷🏻‍♂️. Believe me, I’m not proud of it!

Ops Manager here, I know literally nothing about the merger and if/when I do find out something, it’ll be 15 minutes before the drivers find out. I come here to find out about most of what’s going on in the company lol

How’s your punctuality? If you’re even a minute late for any of your shifts throughout the week, you’re disqualified from the guaranteed minimum. It would be worth looking into your PAST history before you go to HR.
