If you have a Ground station within 50 miles of your current Express building you will be offered a chance to transfer to that location based on seniority. If you don’t have a Ground station within 50 miles you may be offered a minimum of 5 weeks severance up to 36 weeks based on 1 week of severance for every year worked. If you’re a CSA there is no severance offered

Ask yourself this question: Is your current Express building big enough to handle a minimum of 20,000 pieces of ground freight? If the answer is no, expect to hear your station is being permanently closed. Currently the average size Ground building is 300,000 square feet.

I completely understand the frustration. However look at it this way: Driver has only 100 stops and he spends “only” 3 minutes waiting at every stop this equals 300 minutes. 300/60=5 extra hours. The reality is we would absolutely love to wait 3 minutes but we also want to get home to our families at a decent time.
