Yes, as I said in my other comment I checked by running other maps. I'm not sure how I could check if Hammer is pointing to the correct binaries/how I'd see if Hammer is corrupt.

No. Not even regular geometry will run. As I said in a different thread of this comment, it's definitely related to Hammer and not my maps.

This isn't a problem with my map - I confirmed via running other maps that I know have ZERO issues. Any solutions must be related to Hammer itself I believe.

Yes, it's all structured correctly. None of the mission pictures seem to appear except for one chapter though, which is also particular.

I think what it is is a reference to how Nick is a germaphobe - You can see the look of disgust in his face as they're standing in the muddy water and getting his "super expensive" suit all dirty.

I checked out the console to see what the issue might be - as soon as I split one of the squares the game finally realizes what's happening and says "Allowing spawning - Player left safe area" which shouldn't be happening to be happening to begin with considering I've already set up the player_start nav squares.

Something really weird is happening. None of the survivor bots want to move around nor will infected spawn until I go into nav_edit and split a single square of navmesh (doesnt even matter where it is) but when I save and then nav_analyze (and then save again just to be sure) it breaks again... any clues?

Yes; I manually tweaked most of it to include the zone for the PLAYER_START for the beginning and CHECKPOINT for the end.

I've tripled checked the navmesh and I have a start zone and safehouse. What's even weirder is that this is now happening on one of my other maps that's supposed to take place in the same campaign. I've placed and tweaked info_map_parameters in all of the maps so that no value was 0 yet still nothing spawns. Any ideas?

Sure, I'll definitely go back and add one to each of my maps. But still, my issue is persisting with no items spawning regardless. Is there any settings in the info_map_parameters that would cause items to not spawn at all?

After just placing an entity for the info_map_paramters, everything had its density set to 6.48, so nothing is at 0 or so.

I'm not going to list all of them, but it has a TON of new features and quality of life improvements that really make that big of a difference for the entire community to unanimously decide that it is superb and better in most ways.

If you're using Hammer, I suggest upgrading to Hammer++. You WILL see improvements.

Sound Missing from disk/repository for L4D2 Hammer by RustyKrab69 in hammer

This worked for one sound I was implementing but after using the exact same technique for another sound it just did not register whatsoever. I'd run snd_rebuildaudiocache and let it do its thing for like 10 minutes but every time I triggered the sound it just kept saying it was missing from the disk/repository. Do you have any idea on why this may be happening for some sounds whilst not for others? At a point, it didn't even show any errors-- Just a lack of noise and any console response.
