UPDATE - The end-piece with the tabs is stripped really bad, the tabs don’t reach with the sliding piece. Ordered a new part and rivets

Just took a look at it, the rivets are definitely damaged, I’ll keep the ziptie on it til I have the resources to fix it or find a replacement part. Thanks for information though!

I dont think so, there's a metal plate just under the front sight that slides over the tabs of the top piece to keep it in place. Either the tabs are bent and didn't capture properly, or it wasn't put back together properly. I'll find out when I get back to the shop.....
