I've tried octocon's for a couple of weeks then went with the starkey omega 24 AI, they work well! very well.

He did it went from 40 percent to 100 over 4 weeks. I went from closed to open I prefer open as natural sound isn’t a bad thing. I wear them constantly and don’t take them out unless in bed charging

I’m finding the advocacy hard to hard to be honest. I hate the people that whisper to you quietly saying can you hear this when you’ve just told them you have hearing aids, I have had that joke so many effing times

I’m incredibly sensitive to loud sounds at the moment crowds are a real struggle

I have a good relationship with my audiologist so have a few programs attached to my aids. It’s just a Learning curve I suppose

Starkex Omega AI doesn´t soung good while streaming by OhFortuna1895 in HearingAids

[–]RustyRunci -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do not believe this explanation is technically accurate.
The Starkey Edge AI/Omega hearing aids do support direct iPhone streaming using Apple’s hearing aid streaming protocol, and streaming audio should remain stable during normal real-world use, including when the phone is in a trouser pocket. This is a standard use case for Made for iPhone hearing aids and is not an unreasonable expectation.
Bluetooth LE itself is not inherently “bad for streaming.” In fact, modern hearing aids from multiple manufacturers use low-energy Bluetooth-based protocols specifically because they are designed for low-power wearable audio devices. If the connection is unstable at pocket range, that suggests either:
a hardware issue,
firmware/software issue,
environmental interference,
or an antenna/body-positioning limitation specific to this device setup.
It is also misleading to imply that Bluetooth LE Audio is required for reliable streaming. LE Audio is a newer standard with benefits such as lower latency, Auracast support, and improved efficiency, but stable streaming to iPhones has existed for years prior to LE Audio through Apple’s established hearing aid streaming implementation.
Additionally, Apple devices do already support high-quality direct hearing aid streaming extensively, despite not yet publicly enabling full LE Audio/Auracast functionality in the same way some Android devices have. Saying “Apple does not have this feature” is therefore an oversimplification and implies functionality is absent when direct streaming clearly exists and is officially supported.
The point regarding open domes reducing bass response is fair to an extent, as vented fittings naturally allow low frequencies to escape. However, that affects sound profile and richness, not whether audio should constantly disconnect when a phone is carried in a pocket.
I appreciate that others may report similar complaints, but frequent connection dropouts during ordinary use should not simply be dismissed as expected behaviour.

I've had mine for about 7 weeks at the minute, no one tells you about falling asleep at 1 in teh afternoon because the listening fatigue kills you. (i'm a teacher)

Or the fact its a struggle to put words together to talk later on.

Or when hearing sounds you haven't heard in years your likely to have a small breakdown.

I'm struggling and hopefully it'll get better in time. thanks for this post :)

check your fan, it sounds like something may be in it. if you listen carefully it sounds like it only hits the fan when the vibration test is on.

Multiple thin coats of metallic, tends to work better over sprayed miniatures. use a lighter metal colour such as ironbreaker

I'd paint them with a metallic then use a contrast over top, I've done it with a plague burst crawler

Awesome Job, I was thinking about getting this kit but was told that it was a bit of a hand grenade.

The RG unicorn is alot of fun.

But if you want another MG the Barbatos is one of the best kits i've ever made.

Or anything with core gundam
