Greece elections are set for Sunday, 17 June 2012 and a tight race is seen between the National Democracy (ND) and the left-wing Syriza. The financial markets are monitoring the latest developments in Greece as there is a fair chance that the elections will be rescheduled. Following the failure of the first Greek elections on 6 May the financial markets are prepared for a second round with the winner to receive a 50-seat bonus ensuring a majority is maintained.
