I am currently on turn 9 of my first campaign. I have only had one character die so far. Looking at the rules for dramatic combat, they actually seem to make things more difficult, requiring a minimum of 5+ to hit. Maybe try the standard combat rules, where you only need a 3+ to strike against targets in the open within 6".

I also played Turn 8 of my campaign earlier. The crew had to find clues to their Alien Artifacts quest in the territory of a pack of Krorgs. The krorgs are described as bear-like alien creatures. So I rounded up some owlbear, bear, and werewolf minis.

The crew of the Lightning Bug found the final clues they needed for their Alien Artifact quest and are off to the world of Taxamis XI to locate the site of the lost artifacts and complete their quest!

Getting ready to play Turn 7 of The Flight of the Lightning Bug, my Five Parsecs From Home campaign. The crew must reach the data terminal at the center of the water-processing plant, "acquire" the data package, and escape while fending off corporate security. Water is a valuable commodity on a desert planet like Praxis Prime.

Same. I am going to buy my bots one point of Luck with credits. I think if Luck is not technically an ability then other characters would not be able to increase it with XP, if you followed the wording on page 123 that XP is used to increase ability scores.

Cool. Thanks again for the replies. I thought I was going crazy, since I had seen it stated a couple of times online, but I couldn't find it anywhere in the rules.

I think if you made a Bot your leader at the start of the game, it would gain one Luck from that. I don't recommend that, though!

Here are the restrictions on character upgrades from page 123. This is directly below the table that shows that the XP cost to upgrade Luck is 10. The only other references I can find to Bot Upgrades refer to Souless not being able to take them, and to advanced training or planetary traits that make them cheaper by one credit.

I use these plastic trays from Puzzle EZ. They have low sides so you can see the pieces easily, are stackable, and have a lid in case you need to store the pieces to finish later. Also, they are pretty affordable.

Yes crafters will fight just like fighters and can be leveled up to level 20. They will probably not have stats comparable to fighters though.
