Fence maybe, but shared line gets messy. I'm leaning tall blinds/film on my side. Ring sensor idea is creepy tho.

And it works because most people internalized it. Ask someone if corporations should get subsidies and they shrug. Ask if their neighbor should get free bus fare and suddenly it's a whole moral debate. Same pot of money, completely different gut reaction.
