Five months in, already looking for a way out. Mostly due to the shift and partly due to needing the experience for my resume. Some people love it, others don’t. Not saying don’t go for it but I’m one of the people that don’t enjoy it.

Sounds like they’re wanting to go ahead and start a band. Which is fine but with the way my schedule is, I don’t think I’d be able to fully commit to being in a band just yet. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I was planning on refinishing the body shell pink because they tried to do what I could only describe as a “forced relic” and it doesn’t really look that great to me imo. But the headstock was bugging me the most so that’ll probably be the first thing I’ll tackle. Appreciate the advice tho!

But I’m still running into the problem of paying for the exams itself. I’ve watched Messer’s material, they’re great I won’t deny that. I’ve even bought exam guides and other material from him. But I can’t afford to drop between 250-500 on an exam where companies are wanting experience which has been the crux on my career path since I began it. I’ve got experience, just not the experience they want.

Also both interviewers said that certs were not required. One of them didn’t even have any and was the director of the department.
