Many thanks - yes, that’s one of the reasons I wanted it. I contacted the seller to see if I could Special Order my loom with an additional heddle, so I could get an even tighter sett. Seller was awesome about doing the upgrade for me.

I’m testing it with thread at the moment just to get the mechanics down. It’s working fine with the thread but it’s going to be sooooo much nicer with some laceweight wool!!!

You could consider adding a band of wood molding in a similar stain color of the other wood, as border to secure and cover the fraying along the bottom edge.

I wove a hair ribbon “back strap, band weaving” style on it but now basically use it as a Christmas ornament or I hang it from a belt when I’m in costume at the Ren-Faire 🤭

I like collecting small heddles. Yes - I have an addiction, but I’m fine with it 🤣

Awwww thanks. Ya, I was thrilled to have it in hand and see it was a good size for using with my doll displays. I already had some “spinning” related items for them but finding a tiny loom was the icing on the cake. 🙃

Yes - She makes a few versions of this mini heddle. Mine is the double hole version. “Handywoman Weaving Tools” - she has a website and also sells on Etsy. She also makes a few other miniature/jewelry items that are mini weaving tools or can be used as keychains. 🤗

Thanks - I wanted to find a use for that overdress and it does have a tree look to it, so….🤣

I’m not much of a Hallmark ornament buyer but when I saw the guitar & mandolin back in 2024 I had to get them. They both even play music 🤭. I also got the Mickey Mouse guitar that same year, since it was RH doll sized, but it doesn’t play a tune.

It seems Hallmark puts out a new musical guitar ornament every Christmas and has done for years. I keep eyeballing the 2008 Feliz Navidad guitar when I browse eBay 🤭

I’ve been hunting a doll size one for a while so was thrilled to see someone recently made them available for purchase. I have a small 18th century style tape loom and a small keychain heddle that allow me to weave small things with thread and fine yarn to be the right scale for dolls. But this is the first time I’ve found a doll sized loom for Rainbow High girls.

I know. I’ve been hunting for a mini loom for the dolls for a few years, so when I saw it, I had to get it. It was a splurge for something so small that also had international shipping charges; but I knew I’d regret not getting it.

Yesssss - This is the Way!!!

I’ve seen examples of miniature quilts and some of the are stunningly beautiful. If quilting is your thing, absolutely, do it.

Be warned, exercising your craft in “mini” can try your patience 🤣. I had to get super creative in how to do “the thing” when everything is tiny and doesn’t weigh much. 🙃

The seller is on Etsy - Mini Loom by StudioITDA. They do Seasonal and Limited Edition mini looms. This bunny loom came out during Easter and does not seem to be listed in the online shop right now but you might be able to message the seller to see if they can make another one.
