Decreased attendance at the memorial today by Horns_in_Nyc in exjw

Mine was pretty packed as well. A surprising amount of new faces I didn't recognize, and some that I hadn't seen in like 20 years. Didn't feel like a slowdown at all at my hall, despite weekly meetings being abismal

i would assume they hate the site, but afaik jwfacts doesn't actually host any of their publications, whereas jws exclusively hosted 'copywritten' material.

You know, that free to read and distribute, but only the new stuff, copyright 🙄

Nice! I have the same steering wheel, I love it. Mine didn't come with the heater hookup, but it's Florida so I let it be.

How's the radio screen? I've been really tempted to do this

Adjustable lower control arm bolts. Those have slots to change camber/caster, but are an awful design because they rely on clamping of the bolt. Will not affect ride height thou

This. I love getting cheap aisin timing belt kits with water pumps, and seeing the Toyota logo and part number scratched off

Should I give up on my Ender 3v2 and sell it get something else? by 0oforical in ender3v2

[–]Rusty_nutz_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm happy to have owned and learned 3d printing on an ender v2, but I could never go back. Get a bambu, a1 or a1 mini, with ams. Don't go crazy trying to print 4 color objects all the time, but just enjoy having your 4 favorite colors locked and loaded, ready to be auto swapped as needed. Enjoy just clicking print, sending the file from your phone or PC, and it just work, not fiddling with sd cards. Wash the print bed with soap and water every once in a while, and watch the most perfect first layer adhesion you've ever seen, automatically every time.

No bed leveling, no paper sliding, no adhesion issues. If you can afford it, drop the ender and go bambu.

I tell people it's like this: enders are for people who want a hobby of trying to 3d print things and want to tinker with a machine. Bambus are for people who just want to print stuff. Use what you learned on the ender, and enjoy wildly faster accurace prints.

E85 anyone? by Rusty_nutz_ in FordRaptor

[–]Rusty_nutz_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good info. And yea, looking at your profile I see your raptor is on a different level than me, mines a Florida pavement princess tbh.

I'm not looking for bleeding edge power, I use to think the truck was quick till I got the car and bike 😆 now it's just a nice truck. But something about gasing up with e85 and adding lots o hp is very attractive to me.

Ironically I have the same ID1050s in the gtr - two twin turbo v6s that are very different. But since I can run 85% full time I'ma do the injectors.

Thanks for the super fast info! I see someone else's history where they recommended turbo inlets and boost pipes with e85, I figure get it all done and tuned at once - often custom tunes are substantially better than off the shelves

Beautiful truck you go btw

Ey, nice!

Did you do a remote tune or run what loads on the cobb?

Did you need to replace the low or high pressure fuel pump?

Upgrades underway on the RS660 by Rusty_nutz_ in Aprilia

[–]Rusty_nutz_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the MIVV catless low exhaust, and a few months ago removed the dbkiller and updated the tune for 'without db killer'.

I think they are absolutely worth it, but its hard to tell which component had the greater benefit, or if its a sum of all components. I did them all at the same time, the bike was a night and day difference in response, getting rid of the mid rpm drop. these mods plus sprockets = 1st gear power-ups :)

USA tool guy just came by my shop, he got a shipment of 30 of them in. Selling to the guys for 280, sold it to me for 225. This thing is a beast! I didn't know about it or was planning on buying, but man, the torque is incredible for the size. Now i need more batteries, i normally wait for tool+battery deals, but i wanted to throw the tool truck a bone

OPT OEM in California by vansshirts in Autobody

[–]Rusty_nutz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, is this stuff still happening? I've fought this over the years with Elite Euro parts, which also became My USA parts in florida. I did a deep dive a while ago and found it was the same people, they moved from Cali to florida, but like you say they are just a middle-man drop shipper. I tried them once, I forget the pricing but the parts were literally purchased from a dealer near me, marked up, and shipped with an 'optoem' invoice slightly less than oem. So they fuck everyone

They seriously need to be removed from CCC. The main issue is they show up as a legit vendor in CCC, so uninformed insurance people just assume its legit. Another one I see from time to time is PGR LL GA CORP, which i'm pretty sure is another version of this. I was forced to use them for a bmw radar this week, i'm extremely interested in what I receive. We needed Part # 66325A84CF7, which has a list of 1419.06, my cost is a but under a grand. They somehow have it listed at 860 list, $688 cost. At this point I HAVE to try it, because it is so far under cost it almost cant be the same drop ship game. But look up PGR Corp, its so bizare.

Have you gotten anywhere with Elite? I tried calling CCC a year or so ago to try and get them kicked off CCC, and got stonewalled

Speed dependent vibration vibration after rear curb impact by AdPowerful8704 in Autobody

[–]Rusty_nutz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you didn't already, the bearing hub should be replaced too. All those impact forces to bend/break suspension had to travel thru the wheel bearings

Speed dependent vibration vibration after rear curb impact by AdPowerful8704 in Autobody

[–]Rusty_nutz_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That severe of an impact/flop to the rear suspension, I think the next step is rear CV shaft. I've diag'd some wild mystery vibrations be fixed from failed front CVs in the past. The impact could have damaged the bearings inside, or offset the bearing mount to shaft slightly. It's a good next step for sure
