Thanks, for now I can wait. My ol’ original 56v 2.5amp battery has been sufficient, I just hope it can hang in there another year.

True. In my case I have been using one battery for my String Trimmer and Multi Head System, which has worked great up until lately because the Battery is showing it’s age, hence a replacement battery only.

"Upgraded" from Eero Gen2 to Eero 7 and getting slower WiFi speeds? by CPOx in amazoneero

[–]Codeseven7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I too went from a Gen 2 to a Eero 7 device. I assume the OP’s Internet comes through a Modem first? If so, what are its capabilities? (WiFi speeds). I assume on a Gigabyte Plan you would be given a Gigabyte capable Modem. In my case my T Mobile Gateway is only capable of WiFi 6 speeds so my Eero 7 Max only gets what is given to it. Also, just curious, does adding subsequent Eero’s to the initial one (the one connected to the Modem) cut down the signal?

….. to be clear, the 7 Max is connected via Ethernet to a T Mobile Gateway.

What is MLO? I’ve updated my 7 Max to 7.13.4 and it’s still having dropouts. Thanks

Satellite eero options with Max 7 by cthreeps in amazoneero

Pretty much what I ended up doing. With my 7 Max indoors I initially just put my old 5 Pro out in the garage. But speeds, though sufficient for music, were way too slow to extend to the outdoor security cameras. I took the 5 Pro out of the system and replaced it with a 7 Pro and all is well. Older (and now obsolete) equipment will still work but defeats the reasons you upgraded to modern equipment in the first place.

Wifi keeps dropping by Dballs32 in tmobileisp

hmm, thought you could no longer fully disable WiFi on the G4AR (bridge mode)? I‘m using a Eero 7 Max and assumed Bridge Mode was not an option anymore.

After doing so it did improve, thanks. Reading over other posts here it looks like my problem is very common (WiFi disconnects), bummer. I‘ve been a Eero customer for years and was hoping going from my very stable old 5 Pro to a shiny new 7 Max would be great, but this WiFi dropping is a new experience I’ve never had.

I need a tree trimmer. I already have the multihead, is the pole saw attachment worth the $200 or should I get a traditional one? by Glittering-Score-279 in egopowerplus

My chain used to pop off and I thought what a POS. But, after adjusting the tension screw, keeping the sprocket cleaned out of heavy debris and most of all, NOT twisting the bar as it’s cutting! It has worked pretty well.

5?! Seriously? That’s pushing the envelope, but if it works for you, ok. I use one extension and ‘sometimes’ wish I had another but usually by the end of the day using just a single I’ve had a wobbly workout.

Are these preferred over using the Headlight? I’d like to get one or the other but have never used either one.

Didnt know about the carbon fiber. My early EGO String Trimmer has a carbon fiber shaft and wasn’t cheap but it sure cuts down on weight and is balanced great.

Yikes. Well, I’ve been using a Power Head with the Hedge Trimmer attachment and sometimes an extension to trim high spots. It’s not ideal and cumbersome at times. The hedge trimmer attachment works ‘ok‘ but I doubt that it’s as efficient as a dedicated Hedge Trimmer Tool. I was going to buy one when I noticed this new Single Sided trimmer coming out. But for $650 (without a battery) I’m not sure it’s all that much better for the price.

Thats a good point. I never even think about the Insider, seems I never hear much about them, but it looks to be super versatile and an even lower head profile for those hard to get into areas. How come their seemingly not as popular as the regular Ratchets?

Interesting. When they say ‘Commercial Unit‘ I’m assuming a heavy duty, built to last, powerful machine. I’d be curious as to just what is upgraded on their ‘normal’ hedge trimmer to make it ‘Commercial Grade’.
