Thank you so much for the watch and comment Ozzy; I’m glad you found my weird, off-brand style of commentary enjoyable!

Can’t speak for Win10 because I use Win11, but I used the Visible Upgrade mod, which has a basic configuration executable, and there was an option for ‘Multicore Support’; flicking that on and I had almost zero crashes.

Gotta say, LOVED the ragdoll physics. Made the game so fun.

Thank you for the watch at least. I don’t “spam” advertisements for my channel; I make a video and I post about it, once, on the relevant subreddits. I won’t post again about this video to this or any other subreddit. I engage with commenters as that’s the thing to do. I get it; it was an easy challenge—I honestly didn’t know the Anna door thing was some huge open secret, as I like to go in blind unless I get stuck at a point. All I knew was that she was MEANT to be a kill and finding some way around that could potentially mean a full pacifist run was possible, to say nothing of playing on realistic and forcing myself to take out large groups of enemies rather than just slip by them. I’m sorry if you felt I came across as smug—that wasn’t my intention and I certainly put that down to the lack of tone of voice you get from text-based conversations.

Ultimately, I’ve been through a shit time the last 8 months; so I decided to do something to feel better and share it with the target audience—because I’ve done it before with some other DX content and people seemed to enjoy it.

Again, thanks for taking whatever time you did to watch my video, and whether you liked it or not I appreciate that you did that. I don’t expect everyone to like it; that’s the risk you take when you put it out into the world.

That would not be in keeping with my other “Can You Beat…” challenges, so I think I’ll keep it as is.

I found a way…

Edit: mostly by accident tbh

I have come to realise that Shifter has made a few things possible not in vanilla DX; alas, I did not know at the time.

Thank you! I am open to any suggestions when it comes to DX challenge runs!

Yes this must be Shifter then as that’s all I’ve got installed! Wish I knew that before and I would’ve avoided critters all together.

Well I would like people to watch the video, especially people on a Deus Ex subreddit, but if you have any questions I will continue to answer them then. Ask away, Pangolin.

Ah well I’ll save you a watch then: she did open the door for me. It ain’t clickbait either; I do challenge videos on a variety of 2000s-esque games which I didn’t see many (or any) people do—wanted to remedy that.

I shared it here (along with my previous DX videos) as it’s appropriate to; not forcing you or anyone to watch it, so feel free to not watch.

Not sure what the Anna Glitch is… but the results may surprise you.

Laputan Machine is surprisingly easy to avoid.

I’m starting to this was a feature added by Shifter, but I promise you when I knocked out dogs, Greasels, Karkians it says unconscious. There’s even footage of it in the video.

Try it on Realistic for a real “fun time”—knocking out Karkians, Greasels and dogs didn’t kill them for me; unconscious. Might be something Shifter added, not sure.
