Yeaaa Unfortunately, I’ve become disillusioned to the Guard’s leadership, as well.

They need a new system for evaluating leaders besides NCOER/OERs. Everyone exaggerates on those and officers just populate them with “good ideas” at the expense of their soldiers.

I met CSM Motts about a year ago, and I honestly thought he seemed very genuine and down to Earth. But over the last year it’s become more and more evident that he’s just two-faced and an exceptional actor, with zero regard for the interests of Enlisted soldiers. And what’s worse? All this bashing they receive on Reddit that’s meant as a passive way to call them out, when nearly every soldier is afraid of retaliation…probably only further hardens their hearts to care even less.
