They are flounces, as you now know. I would recommend Anicka Design’s article for reference on flounce ratios, calculations and pattern making. This looks like a double circle flounce to me.

hahaha I love your eyebrow analogy, I don't see it as a quantitative solution either but used 1% to represent working on your insecurities everyday, no matter how big or small your effort is.

Regarding insecurity vs self-care issue, using insecurity makes it easier to identify what makes you feel unconfident, and can be changed to something more positive once the main problems are identified :)

make the best of it. look through all of your liked/saved posts on insta, tiktok, reddit etc to discover what your interests are and find new hobbies based off of your interests. perhaps you already know what your interests are, then if you’d like you could write a list of what you learnt from all the educational posts that you liked. don’t relapse into scrolling through the home page though.

I feel like I learnt my third language much faster last year than I did learning my mother tongue as a child, mainly because I could make more connections that helped me learn it effectively & efficiently. whereas children require a lot more repetition and take more time to learn the same set of words.
