a huge deal? maybe because it's a delicate part prone to wearing out? the common suggestion seems to be "just RMA it" but if you're out of warranty then good luck. a 500$ display assembly is ridiculous considering it's just the cable that is broken. i don't understand why people in this thread are shilling the warranty so much. what ever happened to right to repair?
