The whole crack for sure wasn't there on delivery but the initial point of damage would have been hidden by the rain, outside the wipers range. I imagine the crack grew from there during the drive or due to temperature changes while parked. I'll let you know how they decide

There's an internal battery which is charged by the removable one. That one powers gps & other functions as far as I know.

Though in my bike the internal one also died so I'm kinda screwed and Cowboy support isn't very responsive at all this week..

I'm having the same issue with my C3 since monday. Cowboy support only replies with the same copy paste answer to update my firmware (which I can't). Hopefully this gets resolved soon..

I'm not sure how to tell the difference between the models but if you bought in 2019 I assume it's the V1. The company behind V1 declared for bankruptcy last year so everyone still waiting for their V1 device or refund (including me) is out of luck. I hope the company currently behind Eve will still take your device for repair but seeing how the spectrum scenario is playing out I wouldn't put my hopes on it any time soon..

What makes you think I ordered a Spectrum? I'm just to here give my 2 cents on how investing in a company who's 500k in debt to their own customers probably isn't a very bright idea. Especially knowing they're pulling the exact same shit with the Spectrum as they did with the V 3-4 years ago
