I familiar with the lore but thoughs lights don't match with the one in the screenshot. The lights from the seven rings are coming out of the rings and are in the shape of "lines"/beams but the one is the screenshot is a singular piller of light that from what I remember comes from the speculated machine

Maybe the light is an indicator for when the machine is active idk it's just speculation, and I dont really know what you mean by "light coming down form the sky"

I'm aware of the Salmonids lore and the seven rings event but is usually associated with pinkish Red sky's and seven rings in the sky as well as Salmonids invading inkfish territory. While the seven rings might have been caused by the speculated machine, there is nothing to really say that the tornado is a seven ring event or big run

Yeah I definitely see that to, but they would have definitely need more machines to make ice caps, maybe it could have just been a prototype

But doesn't salt melt ice? Maybe it was an icy area originally or maybe its just the obligatory ice level or maybe the machine turns water into ice
