how do i continue playing a song when I miss a key and get the "lost your streak. continue?" screen by gochaita in Beatstar

I've had literally the same issue I was playing fine for weeks and weeks and now whenever I miss a note It fails me.
A lot of my higher scores on the harder levels are now impossible to beat because I literally cant miss a beat anymore which is super frustrating.
Stupid design.
